Join Ski Buddies at the club’s “first ever ski trip” to beautiful Manning Provincial Park in southern B.C. Manning is a stunning landscape of mountains, meadows, lakes and forests located at the very northern end of the Cascade Mountain range. There are still a few spaces available! Contact the trip leaders to reserve one of the last spots.

Ski Buddies is a volunteer organization and exists as a function of the total volunteer effort put into it. Regularly scheduled Club planning meetings, hosted at private residences, are a chance for you to become more active in the organization, to put your leadership skills to work and meet some great people in the process! Join Seattle Ski Buddies trip captain Gil Price as he takes you on a memorable week skiing a first class European resort - the Austrian Alps’ Arlberg region. Ski over 260 km of prepared runs and five ski areas on one ski pass - Lech, Zuers, Oberlech, St. Christoph and St. Anton. Gil knows this ski area well as he has skied the Arlberg region annually during the 17 years he lived in Germany, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Austria.

The 2007 Methow Valley cross country trip, over President’s Day weekend, February 16-19, celebrates our 18th year. Most of us know that the Methow Valley has held the title for several years now as the best of 130km of groomed cross country, touring, freestyle and race-skiing in all of North America. We intend to keep that title!

Meet up with the Stevens Pass overnighters for a day of skiing/boarding on Saturday Feb 23rd then join us for the potluck dinner at the Cabin afterwards. We are scheduling a 9am meet time near the ticket booths and a noon to 1pm lunch meet at the Granite Peaks (middle) Lodge. For the Cabin and potluck portion afterwards please indicate your interest with a note to the weekend coordinators, Ray or Chris. Within a week of the trip we will contact you with information on how to find the Cabin and where to park.

Mt. Hood Meadows is Celebrating 40 years this season! Come join the fun! The area has 2,150 ski-able acres and 9 different terrain parks. There are also cross country and snowshoe trails in and around the ski area hosted by a great Nordic Center .

Similar to last year's trip to Wenatchee, this is a book your own adventure trip. Your trip leader will be staying at the Avenue Motel to take advantage of their special offer which includes two nights at the motel plus two days of lift tickets at Mission Ridge for only $122. Feel free to stay at the Avenue Motel or any other place in the Wenatchee area. Many hotels offer a ski package which includes lift tickets to Mission Ridge.

(Trip is now filled. A wait list has been established.) Picture it; you’re in a pristine setting at 5,000 feet just east of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area in Washington's Central Cascades. Where I’m talking about is Scottish Lakes High Camp in the Chiwaukum Mountains. The only access is via an 8-mile private road, using 4-wheel drive vehicles in the fall and snowcats and snowmobiles during the winter. WINTER SKIING
