Join us Sunday, October 12th from 6-9 PM as we return to the fabulous Mt Baker Community Club and kick off the 2008/2009 Ski season! Reconnect with old friends and begin new connections while enjoying the scrumptious spread our members always bring. Sign-ups for the new season trips don’t begin until the potluck begins and our most popular trips will fill up, so be sure to attend with deposits in hand to reserve your spot. Remember that alcohol is BYOB; soft drinks will be provided.

Enjoy the high and dry eastern snow of Mission Ridge, fourteen scenic miles out of Wenatchee. Similar to previous years, this is a book-your-own adventure trip, the first of two this season. Your trip leader will be staying at the Avenue Motel to take advantage of their special offer which includes one night at the motel plus two days of lift tickets at Mission Ridge for only about $125 (with the option to purchase an additional night at the hotel).
Join Ski Buddies at beautiful Manning Provincial Park in southern B.C. Manning is a stunning landscape of mountains, meadows, lakes and forests located at the very northern end of the Cascade Mountain range.
Aspen has something for everyone. There are four great mountains and you're sure to find skiing to suite your ability, whether it’s the gentle beginner slopes of Buttermilk, Ruthie's intermediate cruiser on Aspen Mountain, the seemingly endless groomed corduroy of Snowmass or the steep back bowls of Aspen Highlands.

Join Seattle Ski Buddies trip captain Gil Price as he takes you on a memorable week skiing a first class European resort - the Austrian Alps’ Arlberg region. Ski over 260 km of prepared runs and five ski areas on one ski pass - Lech, Zuers, Oberlech, St. Christoph and St. Anton. Gil knows this ski area well as he has skied the Arlberg region annually during the nearly 20 years he lived in Germany, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Austria.
As appreciation for all the good times and hard effort that has gone into making Ski Buddies a great winter sports club, we are subsidizing a day of skiing/riding (and motor coach transportation) to Crystal Mountain for all interested members. For just $85, let us take you there, get you a lift ticket and say thanks for being a part of Ski Buddies.

Join Ski Buddies for our first Methow Valley “hut-to-hut” trip, scheduled for Friday, January 30th through Sunday, February 1st. This is a cross country and backcountry trip. We’ll be staying in rustic huts in the rugged and beautiful Rendezvous area. Each hut sleeps 6-8 and has a wood burning stove. We’ll ski up to the huts but a snowmobile will haul up our gear.
Estimated cost: $110 per person.

Winter PRIDE (Whistler Gay and Lesbian Snow Sports Week) offers a wide range of events for men and women, including all your old favorites and a few new twists as well. Methow TrailContinuing the annual tradition, the 2009 Methow Valley cross country trip over President’s Day weekend, February 13-16, celebrates our 20th year here.
The Methow Valley has held the title for several years now as the best of groomed cross country trails (130km), touring, freestyle and race-skiing in all of North America.
(This trip is currently filled; check back here for any openings. As before, we'll be doing a Stevens Pass day trip rendezvous on Saturday Feb 22 ... details in January.)

Mt. Hood Meadows has 2,150 skiable acres and 9 different terrain parks accessed by 10 chair lifts, four of which are high-speed quads. Cross country and snowshoe trails in and around the ski area are hosted by a great Nordic Center .
