Ski Buddies Update

Hi Ski Buddies Members!

With the start of the 2007 – 2008 ski season, we are launching important new features and functions on our website. This email will explain the new features. We are using accounts on the site to help us manage our membership, so please join or update your account.

New Features:
• Electronic Newsletter Feature: All members have been signed up for the Monthly Newsletter and Club Information Newsletter by default. This is how the board will communicate with the club members, distribute Newsletters and last minute information to all members. You can modify your settings in your “My Account” section.
• Notifications: All members have been signed up to receive regular notifications (daily summaries at most) of content additions to the web site and forum postings. If you want to find people to do an informal trip with you, post to the forums and members will be notified of the posting. You can modify your Notification settings in your “My Account” section.
• Electronic Liability Waiver Signing: Instead of using a paper form, you can sign the liability waiver online once you have an account.
• Add your emergency contact information to your online profile for use by trip leaders. Look in your “My Account” section for these fields.
• Pay your dues online with PayPal. Current site members can find the PayPal link in their “My Account” section. Of course, you can still pay with a check or cash at a potluck or by mailing a check to the club.
