ASPEN GAY SKI WEEK, Sun-Sun, January 13-20
(Trip is now filled. There is a wait list.)
Aspen has something for everyone. There are four great mountains and you're sure to find skiing to suite your ability, whether it’s the gentle beginner slopes of Buttermilk, Ruthie's intermediate cruiser on Aspen Mountain, the seemingly endless groomed corduroy of Snowmass or the steep back bowls of Aspen Highlands. (aspensnowmass) The town of Aspen is a delight, with great restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shopping, health clubs and spas, all on quaint Victorian streets in a pristine Rocky Mountain setting. Events at Gay Ski Week include the downhill costume competition, comedy night, the Aspen GLBT Film Festival, a gallery walk, group dinners and parties galore.
We will be staying at the Chateau Roaring Fork and Fifth Avenue Condos, both within easy walking distance of the slopes of Aspen Mountain or the free shuttle buses to the other mountains. To add to the merriment, this year we have decided to pair up with the members of the SAGA North club in San Francisco.
We are offering four price options:
$1350 – the full package - includes air transportation from Seattle to Aspen (leaving Sunday, January 13th and returning Sunday, January 20th), seven nights lodging, a five-day lift ticket good at all four mountains and a wine and cheese welcome party
$950 – available for a limited number of people – includes the lodging and lift tickets but without the air transportation
$1100 - for those interested in a shorter stay - includes air transportation from Seattle to Aspen (leaving Wednesday, January 16th and returning Sunday, January 20th), four nights lodging and a four day lift ticket good for all four mountains
$700 – This is the shorter stay, including lodging and lift tickets, but without the air transportation. (SAGA North will not be offering this to their members so we will be able to go forth only if we have sufficient interest in this option.)
For all price options a deposit of $300 is due by October 21st with a final payment due by November 5th, 2007.
If you have any questions please email Shilpen. See you in ASPEN!
