Mt. Hood Meadows is Celebrating 40 years this season! Come join the fun! The area has 2,150 ski-able acres and 9 different terrain parks. There are also cross country and snowshoe trails in and around the ski area hosted by a great Nordic Center .
Skiing magazine listed Hood River as one of the top 10 ski and 
snowboarding towns in the U.S., only 45 minutes from the ski area down the beautiful Hood River valley. The town is also known worldwide for windsurfing and kite boarding so there are plenty of cool shops, great restaurants and jamming music on the weekends.
We’ll be staying at the Vagabond Lodge, a 5-minute drive to downtown and within walking distance of a great breakfast place. The historic Columbia Gorge Hotel is right next door if you want a 5 star meal. There will be the usual rendezvous; meet in the morning, on the Mountain for lunch and for après ski. The Adventure group from Portland will be invited for all the fun! All rooms in our reserved section of the motel have a view of the majestic Columbia River Gorge!!
