Join Ski Buddies at beautiful Manning Provincial Park in southern B.C. Manning is a stunning landscape of mountains, meadows, lakes and forests located at the very northern end of the Cascade Mountain range.
This trip has it all - cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snowshoeing. You will be amazed by Manning’s extensive trail network; 30 km of groomed cross country trails for both classic and skate skiing, 190 km of backcountry ski touring trails and numerous marked snowshoe trails. There are also 2 warming huts within the trail network. There is also delightful downhill skiing and riding at Gibson Pass ski area, with more than 140 acres of ski and snowboard terrain, 24+ marked trails and 4 ski lifts over a 1,400 foot vertical drop.
We will be staying at the Manning Park Resort which is located in the heart of the park at an elevation of 4,000 ft. Ski Buddies has reserved three tri-plex group chalets and two three bedroom cabins that offer both bunk-style group and private bedroom accommodations. The units contain the following: full kitchen so you can prepare your own meals, dining area, living room, one to three bathrooms, bunk-style sleeping rooms and some private bedrooms. Bath towels and bed linens are included. Cross country ski trails and snowshoe trails are right outside your door! The resort has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, two restaurants, a pub, game room and a grocery store. Other amenities include an outdoor ice skating rink, tube hill and sleigh rides. We will carpool to the resort.
