ASPEN GAY SKI WEEK - Jan 16-23

Aspen has something for everyone. There are four great mountains and you're sure to find skiing to suit your ability, whether it’s the gentle beginner slopes of Buttermilk, Ruthie's intermediate cruiser on Aspen Mountain, the seemingly endless groomed corduroy of Snowmass or the steep back bowls of Aspen Highlands. (aspensnowmass) The town of Aspen is a delight, with great restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shopping, health clubs and spas, all on quaint Victorian streets in a pristine Rocky Mountain setting. Events at Gay Ski Week include the downhill costume competition, comedy night, the Aspen GLBT Film Festival, a gallery walk, group dinners and parties galore.

This year we are going on a joint trip with the men and women of San Francisco (SAGA north) and if the past is a predictor it promises to be another fun year with them.

We will be staying at the Chateau Roaring Fork, within easy walking distance of the slopes of Aspen Mountain or the free shuttle buses to the other mountains.

Price: $999 -the full package, including eight nights lodging and a five-day lift ticket good at all four mountains. For an additional $19 you can get a sixth day of skiing.

A deposit of $500 is due by November 8th with a final payment due by December 5th, 2008.
